Introductory course will focus on Excel

AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer an introductory course for those wishing to learn more about the newest version of Microsoft Excel.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2007 will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 17 through March 3. The noncredit class is designed for individuals who are new to Excel 2007.

Through guided examples and hands-on training, the class will help participants build confidence working with Excel to format worksheets, enter and modify data, create formulas and functions and print worksheets. The cost of the class is $149 and includes the textbook.

A general knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system is recommended. The instructor is Shelley Brown.
