John Schlaack, left, commander of Nelson-Conley Post 66 in Lisbon Falls, presented a $100 award to Nicole Drake, right, runner-up in the recent 3rd District American Legion high school oratorical contest. Drake, a senior at St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn, is the daughter of Claudette Jewell of Sabattus and Charles A. Drake of Fayette, and was sponsored by Post 66.
