Better things to do

Did it ever occur to you that the police are "harassing" you because you are engaging in dangerous behavior? You may be about to cause a car accident, hit another pedestrian, or get hit yourself. Yes, the police do have better things to do then warn teens about how their lack of common sense is a danger to others. The world does not revolve around you, and you must be aware of the world around you. I do agree that you and your friends should take the initiative and design a skate part, just like teens in most other towns have done. That is, if those harassing police will allow you to.

The police are probably "harassing" skateboards because of complaints by towns people. I do think it would be a great idea for Lisbon falls to create a skateboard park. Maybe you and friends should design a park and speak to contracters and present your plan to your town office at a town meeting.
