Corona Boisvert


ST. HYACINTHE, Quebec – Sister Corona Boisvert (Gamelin), 92, of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Hyacinthe, passed away on April 20.

She was born in Drummondville, Quebec, Oct. 20, 1913, and entered the community on March 19, 1931, and made profession on Sept. 26, 1933.

She served in Manchester and Rochester, N.H. and in Lewiston. The greater part of her services were spent at the Marcotte Home in Lewiston. She also spent some time in Manitoba.

Surviving are one sister, Susanne Cook of Massachusetts; and a few nephews and nieces from Rhode Island, namely Mr. and Mrs. Normand (Doris) Jacques of Westerly, Robert Sylvestre of Westerly, Raymond Sylvestre of Lincoln, Elaine Sylvestre of Cranston and and Rev. Ernest Sylvestre, OMI, of Madison, Fla.
