AUBURN – The following cases were closed recently in the Androscoggin County Superior Court:

Gerald M. Nfashingabo, 34, South Portland, operating under the influence, with two priors, and operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 3, 2006, found guilty on both charges, fined $1,100, sentenced to 30 days, license suspended four years and registration suspended on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

Faith M. Nichols, 37, Livermore Falls, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 30. 2005, found guilty, sentenced to six years at the state prison with all but 60 days suspended, four years probation, restitution of $46,000 and 240 hours of community service.

Travis A. Oakes, 32, Industry, operating under the influence, with two priors, violating condition of release, operating while license suspended or revoked and operating a vehicle without a license on March 11, all charges dismissed.

Daniel A. Ouellette, 43, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Dec. 11, 2005, found guilty, sentenced to 18 days at the county jail; also charged with burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Jan. 1, 2006, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to 18 months at the county jail; and assault and violating condition of release on Aug. 9, 2006, both charges dismissed.

John F. Phelan, 23, Lewiston, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on April 29, 2006, dismissed.

Jeppie C. Phillips, 43, Lewiston, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on June 29, 2006, found guilty, fined $500 and sentenced to six months at the county jail with all but 20 days suspended.

John I. Pietila III, 42, Lewiston, arson on Sept. 21, found guilty, sentenced to three years at the state prison with all but 78 days suspended and three years probation.

David L. Poisson, 27, Auburn, failing to stop for an officer on July 7, 2006, found guilty, fined $150.

James Pontoo, 23, Lewiston, probation violation on a Aug. 29, 2001, robbery charge, sentenced to 24 months at the state prison and probation partially revoked.

Michael Richard Profenno, 43, Lewiston, probation violation on a April 16, 2005, aggravated criminal mischief charge, sentenced to six months at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

David R. Proulx, 54, Auburn, theft by deception on July 9, 2005, found guilty, sentenced to two years at the state prison with all but seven days suspended, two years’ probation and restitution of $4,128.

John Charles Purcell IV, 27, Auburn, assault and disorderly conduct on July 4, 2006, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $200.

Raymond Quill, 20, Lewiston, probation violation on a Nov. 11 unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug charge, sentenced to seven days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Michael P. Rivard, 22, Norway, criminal mischief, theft by unauthorized use of property, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, operating under the influence and failing to stop, remain, render aid and/or personal injury on March 18, found guilty on first, second and third charges, sentenced to 20 days at the county jail for each charge; found guilty on fourth charge, fined $500, sentenced to 20 days at the county jail and license suspended 90 days; fifth charge dismissed.

Jesse L. Robbins, 22, Lewiston, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on April 29, 2006, dismissed.

Darrell Ross, 53, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on May 26, 2006, found guilty, fined $400, sentenced to one year at the state prison with all but 26 days suspended and two years probation.

Linda Louise Sanborn, 45, Greene, operating after habitual offender revocation, with prior, failing to stop for an officer, driving to endanger, reckless conduct and attaching false plates, found guilty on first, second and third charge, fined $1,000, sentenced to 18 months at the state prison with all but 24 hours suspended and two years’ probation on first charge; sentenced to six months at the county jail with all suspended on second charge; fined $500 on third charge; fourth and fifth charges dismissed.

Luis Francisco Sanchez, 43, Springfield, Mass., aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, illegal importation of scheduled drugs and criminal forfeiture of property on Feb. 3, 2006, first and second charges dismissed; third charge forfeited; also charged with failure to appear after bailed on March 3, 2006, dismissed.

Kevin D. Scott, 30, Lisbon Falls, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Sept. 25, found guilty on first charge, fined $400 and sentenced to 10 days at the county jail; second charge dismissed.

Edward M. Secotte Jr., 41, Lewiston, attaching false plates and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 15, 2006, both charges dismissed.

Renee Sheltra, 27, Lewiston, assault on Oct. 12, dismissed.

Lesley Sherburne, 27, Sabattus, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on Dec. 2, 2005, found guilty, sentenced to two years at the state prison with all but 40 days suspended and two years probation.

Marc Sinclair, 22, Lewiston, refusing to submit to arrest or detention on May 6, 2006, unconditional discharge.

Jennifer Smith, 34, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on Sept. 1, dismissed.

Karen Elizabeth Spearrin, 29, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 4, 2006, found guilty, sentenced to two years at the state prison with all suspended and one year probation; also charged with theft by receiving stolen property, violating condition of release, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and possession of hypodermic apparatuses on Dec. 20, and theft by receiving stolen property and violation of condition of release on Aug. 5, 2006, all charges dismissed.

Thomas E. Spofford, 28, Auburn, operating under the influence on April 16, 2006, and operating a vehicle without a license on April 15, 2006, found guilty on first charge, fined $500, sentenced to 48 hours at the county jail and license suspended 90 days; second charge dismissed.

Vincent L. Steed, 25, Lewiston, probation violation on a Oct. 28 assault charge, sentenced to 30 days at the county jail, probation partially revoked and continued, and 40 hours community service.

Elizabeth A. Stevens, 21, Lewiston, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on June 8, 2006, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $400.

Timothy L. Swan, 53, Lisbon, probation violation on a March 9, 2005, unlawful sexual contact charge, sentenced to four days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Thomas L. Taylor, 43, Auburn, aggravated assault and violating condition of release on Sept. 11, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $200.

Ronald Alan Teague, 40, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release on Aug. 4, 2006, both charges dismissed.

Vincent A. Thomas, 47, Lewiston, two counts of assault on June 24, 2006, both charges dismissed.

Vincent Carl Thomas, 36, Lewiston, probation violation on a May 20, 2005, unlawful sexual contact charge, sentenced to two days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Susan A. Verrill, 40, Auburn, theft by deception on Feb. 5, 2005, found guilty, fined $500.

Malone Vincecruz, 29, Casco, operating after habitual offender revocation, with prior, on Aug. 22, 2006, and failing to provide a correct name, address and/or date of birth on Sept. 4, found guilty on first charge, fined $1,000 and sentenced to 45 days at the county jail; second charge dismissed.

Christopher J. Violette, 23, Lewiston, disorderly conduct, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, criminal mischief and assault on May 6, 2006, first and second charges dismissed; found guilty on third and fourth charges, sentenced to 21 days at the county jail for each charge.

Anwar D. Whiting, 25, Lewiston, aggravated criminal trespass, assault, obstructing the report of a crime and criminal trespass on July 19, 2006, first, second and third charges dismissed; found guilty on fourth charge, sentenced to 120 days at the county jail with all suspended and one year probation.

Craig J. Wing, 55, Hebron, carrying a concealed weapon on Sept.. 25 and trafficking in dangerous knives on Sept. 24, both charges dismissed.

Julie E. Woodsome, 44, Lewiston, probation violation on a Jan. 23, 2003, negotiating a worthless instrument charge, sentenced to 18 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Kyle M. Wormlight, 24, Biddeford, operating while license suspended or revoked on April 12, 2006, found guilty, fined $250.

Benjamin Ryan Worster, 28, Lewiston, assault and criminal threatening on Aug. 14, 2006, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $500.

Robert A. Young, 38, Auburn, assault on Aug. 14, 2006, dismissed.
