Michael Michaud is the poorest of choices for governor that could be. Even the Democratic Party didn’t want him as its first choice (Cutler had been asked, as was revealed in the first television debate). Michaud has never had an original thought, whether in the Maine Legislature or in Congress.
Eliot Cutler is arrogant. He looks down his nose at people. He doesn’t speak to people, he lectures them. He is an effete, ultra-liberal Democrat, whether he wants to admit it or not.
That leaves Gov. Paul LePage. He is the most genuine individual in politics anywhere. What you see is what you get, with no apologies. People might not like him but he does what he says.
I like that.
He is not self-absorbed. There is no pretense about him. He is simply the best and that is why I proudly support him.
