Dale T. Mottram


Lewiston – Dale T. Mottram, 67, of Mechanic Falls died on April 13, at CMMC with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on March 5, 1939, the son of Wallace and Florence (Proctor) Mottram.

He was a 1957 graduate of Edward Little High School, after which he served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 61. On June 2, 1958, he married Beverly Foster. They lived in Mechanic Falls for the past 22 years. They also resided in Connecticut for many years.

He was a long-time employee of Windsor Manufacturing in Connecticut, and more recently he worked at Riley Medical in Auburn. He was a member of the Tyrian Lodge AF & AM, and past master of St. Mark’s Lodge 91 in Connecticut. His hobbies included building and flying radio controlled airplanes, riding ATVs, and fixing things.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly; sons, Dale Jr. and wife, Tarja and Timothy Mottram; daughters, Debra Theriault and husband, Michael, Christine Lebel and husband, Jamey; brothers, Roger, Frank, Gerald, David, Ronald, and Bruce Mottram; sister, Gloria Hall; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey; and nephew, Kevin Mottram.
