David R. Daye


LEWISTON – David R. Daye, 44, of Greene and formerly of Bethel, passed away Monday, May 22, at Central Maine Medical Center with his family be his side.

He was born on July 6, 1961, in Berlin, N.H., the son of Aubrey and Sheila (Heath) Daye. He was a certified logging professional and heavy equipment operator dedicating 20 years as an employee for D.A. Wilson Co. of Bethel.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and hiking. He also enjoyed dowzing for water. He had a particularly kind heart and was always willing to help other people.

He is survived by his parents, Aubrey and Sheila Daye of Bethel; daughters, Megan, Paige and Sarah Daye, all of Hanover; Linda Beaudoin of Hanover, mother of his children; sisters, Cheryl Daye-Heath and husband, Jim, of Bethel, Dawn Mason and husband, Delbert, of Greene; nephews, Benjamin Brown of Lovell, James Heath III of Bethel, Reilly Mason of Greene; nieces, Kelsie Heath of Bethel and Emily Mason of Greene; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousin.

He was predeceased by his grandparents.
