BALTIMORE — Amina Iqbolzoda, an exchange student from Tajikistan, living in Dixfield with host parents, Roy and Michelle Hutchins and their children while attending Dirigo High School, recently returned from Baltimore, Md., where she was selected to attend a five-day International Youth Leadership Conference.
Iqbolzoda was selected by the Pacific Intercultural Exchange Hosting Organization which arranged the placement with the host family and Dirigo High School. She traveled to Baltimore to meet and interact with 60 high school exchange students from 28 countries from around the world as well as American students.
She is completing her junior year at Dirigo High School, along with other exchange students including Violetta (Vita) Chandylova of Russia and In Ye Choi from South Korea.
