BRUNSWICK — Donald “Butch” E. Dugas Jr., 45, of Lewiston died unexpectedly Friday, May 7, at Parkview Hospital.
He was born in Lewiston on July 27, 1965, the son of Donald and Marjorie (Reynolds) Dugas Sr. and attended Lewiston High School.
He was recently employed with Independence Assoc. of Brunswick where he worked for the past 14 years providing care and companionship for people with developmental disabilities.
Butch enjoyed hanging out with his daughter, playing softball, being with his family and friends and was well known for his dart shooting skills playing out of Profenno’s in Westbrook for many years.
His humor, compassion, and friendship will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexa Lynn Dugas, and companion, Justin Watson; his mother, Marjorie Dugas; his sister, Lyanne Dugas; his stepdaughter, Ilea Casas and husband Tony; his nephew, Michael Dugas, and companion, Tanya Blaisdell; his favorite uncle, Rick Reynolds and wife Bonnie; and by an aunt, cousins and many good friends.
He was predeceased by his father and by his grandparents.
