LEWISTON — Doris M. Thibodeau, 89, of Lewiston, died Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 12, 1923, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Arthemise (Nadeau) Lagrange and had been a resident of this community all of her life.
She was employed as a stitcher in the local shoe industry for many years, until her retirement. Doris enjoyed knitting and crocheting, doing word search puzzles and she loved to go dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Alphee Thibodeau, whom she married on Oct. 23, 1948, of Lewiston; two grandsons, Daniel Thibodeau and his wife, Norma, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jason Thibodeau of Lewiston; four great-grandchildren, Ciauna, Danny, Selena and Jaiden Thibodeau; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Gaston Thibodeau.
