Dozer Dayz rolling onto fair grounds
OXFORD – Dozer Dayz returns to the Oxford County Fair Grounds, Route 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 21, to benefit the Boxberry School, an independent elementary school in Oxford.
Dozer Dayz offers family fun for all ages. Excavators, bulldozers, plows and cranes, brought together by the Associated Contractors of Maine, will descend upon the fair grounds for the day.
Children will be able to explore their favorite machines from the driver’s seat, see demonstrations, such as cranes lifting heavy pieces of equipment, and meet the operators.
Dozer Dayz tickets are $7 a person the day of the event. Advance tickets (nonrefundable) can be purchased at Books-n-Things on Main Street in Norway for $5 each. Rain date for the event is Sunday, July 22 (call 743.9700 on July 21 for recorded rain announcement).
