Drivers receive minor injuries in Farmington crash

FARMINGTON — Police say two drivers were transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital with minor injuries Friday morning following a collision at Route 2 and Croswell Road in Farmington Falls.

Both were treated and released, Farmington police officer Steve Gould said.

Daniel Enman, 19, of Wilton was driving a 2002 Subaru Impreza west on Route 2 when he attempted a left turn on to Croswell Road, Gould said. Daphne Lightbody, 39, of Strong was traveling east on Route 2 in a sedan at 8:10 a.m. when the two cars collided.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Farmington towing.

Farmington Fire and Rescue and two NorthStar ambulances helped at the scene, he said.
