The Dunnemans to perform at Court Street Baptist

AUBURN — The Dunnemans will perform a gospel music concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Court Street Baptist Church, 129 Court St.

Gretchen and Reg Dunneman, of Binghamton, N.Y., sing a unique blend of gospel music, including Southern Gospel, country, traditional hymn, classical and contemporary Christian styles. The couple presents about 350 concerts each year at churches, campgrounds, conventions and senior living facilities from Ontario, Canada to Florida.

Gretchen, a classically-trained Eastern University graduate, has sung Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, “pops” concerts and a cappella choral works. She sang with The Friendship Trio, The Broome County Savoyards, The BC Pops, The Binghamton Symphony Orchestra and The Tri-Cities Opera.

Reg, a native of Stratford, Ontario, was raised in a musical family and played piano at an early age. He organized The Victors Trio and later The Tabernacle Trio. He then toured with Canada’s Galileans, a Southern Gospel quartet, for more than 20 years before meeting and marrying Gretchen.

The couple has recorded several CDs, including “There’s Something Going On,” “Tell Them This,” “Timeless,” “Confident,” “Before the Throne,” and their newest project, “How Big is Your God?” Additionally, Gretchen has recorded the acclaimed CD, “The Recital.”
