Dunton is named to food bank board

AUBURN – Good Shepherd Food-Bank has announced that Diane L. Dunton has recently been named chairwoman of the board of directors.

Dunton is president of Potential Released of Windham and has more than 25 years of business and human resource experience. Dunton integrates her life as a business woman, artist and motivational/inspirational speaker.

She holds a master’s degree in counseling and has extensive experience in organizational development.

She has received specialized training with National Training Labs, the Gestalt Institute, the Center for Creative Leadership, the University of Michigan’s Organizational Career Development and the Center for Reengineering Leadership. Dunton has also been a friend and member of Good Shepherd’s board of directors for several years.

Founded in 1981, Good Shepherd Food-Bank provides food to more than 500 nonprofit agencies statewide. Agencies include food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless and abuse shelters, group and foster homes, drug and alcohol recovery centers, and services for the elderly and children.
