RUMFORD — The Rumford Eagles will host the annual membership drive from 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, March 6, at the Eagles home, Rumford Avenue.
During the day, members will be available to answer questions and give tours. There will be tables set up in the function hall showcasing some of the activities that take place at the Rumford Eagles.
The band Backlash will provide entertainment from from 8 p.m. to midnight in the function hall. Cover charge for nonmembers will be $3, but will be waived if the guest participates in a tour of the facilities.
The organization offers pool, bowling and horseshoe leagues, as well as the Eagle Riders motorcycle group. They are also looking for anyone who might be interested in helping others by volunteering time or helping raise money for the group’s many charitable causes.
They have a social room with pool tables, televisions and a bar. They offer entertainment on Thursday and Saturday evenings, bingo on Sunday and Tuesday evenings and cribbage on Monday evenings.
The cost to become a member is $35; $15 for each following year.
