NORWAY — A big Easter Basket and $50 gift certificates to businesses are some of the prizes being raffled off at the Norway Easter Fest to be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3.
Participants will start the journey at the Norway Memorial Library to get details of the event and pick up a Bunny Trail Map. The Easter Fest will include a Main Street Egg Hunt at participating businesses; craft tables at the library; raffles and snacks provided by Healthy Oxford Hills; the Easter Bunny opening the fest at the library and hopping across the street to Norway Savings Bank to give out balloons; Fare Share Commons games and smoothies.
The Bunny Trail will also lead to the to the Matolsky Art Center to create Easter Egg Art and at the other end, a Moon Bounce at Child Development Services. The Second Congregational Church will have face painting, and there will be a Scavenger Hunt and a Bunny Café.
Participating businesses are also hatching up surprises. The Norway Easter Fest is open to everyone.
The event is a collaborative effort of the Norway Downtown Promotions Committee, Norway Recreation Department and Norway Memorial Library.
