FARMINGTON — Susan Tedrick, chief compliance officer at Franklin Community Health Network, and Gilly Hitchcock, compliance committee chair and a member of the board of directors, are each presenting at the Health Care Compliance Association’s annual Compliance Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Tedrick will speak on recognizing quality of care as a compliance risk and opportunities for improvement, while Hitchcock will discuss ways to engage board of directors in quality of care and compliance issues.
“We’re very pleased that Susan and Gilly were selected to present at this national conference, which engages health care board members, attorneys and others with regulatory responsibilities,” said Rebecca Ryder, FCHN president and chief executive officer. “This is just one step we are taking in overseeing integration of quality-centered care to make Franklin Memorial the safest hospital it can be.”
Tedrick has extensive experience in health care compliance and has presented many seminars on a wide variety of health law matters. Her publications include articles on fraud and abuse, medical practice acquisition, antitrust, elder law and advance medical directives. Tedrick is a graduate of the University of Florida and Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she concentrated in health law.
