FenderBender will play at benefit for soldiers

LEWISTON — Local band FenderBender will provide music for the Wounded Legacy Foundation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Fast Breaks.

The foundation helps returning wounded Maine soldiers who no longer receive military pay and have not as yet begun receiving Social Security benefits.

A “poker run” motorcycle ride will begin at 10 a.m. at the Cabin Restaurant in Bath, then travel to the Old Goat in Richmond, on to the Bowdoin town store and then to the Railroad Diner in Lisbon. It will end at about 2 p.m. at Fast Breaks, 1425 Lisbon St.

There will be a drawing, raffles and other fundraisers throughout the day. There will also be a special menu with some proceeds going to the cause.
