Her landscapes depict the Maine woods, the sea, pine trees or street scenes using bold bright colors. Worthington creates her own fabrics by painting or silkscreening, and often finishes the work with French knots, beads, and other embroidery techniques.
Worthington will also give an artist’s talk at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, also at Topsham Public Library’s Crooker Gallery. These programs are free and open to the public.
The library is at 25 Foreside Road. For more information, call 207-725-1727 or visit www.topshamlibrary.org.
