LEEDS — The Leeds Fire Department will host a pancake and french toast breakfast from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at the Leeds Fire Station, Route 106 in Leeds Center. The breakfast is a fundraiser for the department to replace their SCBA Air Packs.
The air packs allow the firefighters to enter a smoke or chemical filled building. The department needs 18 air packs and they cost between $3,000 and $6,000 each.
The menu will also include homemade donuts, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, home fries, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 for adults; $4 for age 3 to 12; free for under 3.
The fire department will also have their eighth annual Barn Sale on Aug. 14 and 15 and they’ll cook burgers and hot dogs at Farm Days, on Aug. 20 and 21, at the Barker Farm. The will host another pancake breakfast in the fall.
