Forrest – St. Laurent


NEWRY – The wedding of Beth Lynn Forrest and Derrick James St. Laurent was held at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Artists’ Bridge in Newry. Chaplain Raymond St. Pierre officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. St. Laurent is the daughter of the late John L. Forrest Jr. of Greene and Cheri-Lynn Forrest of Lewiston. Mr. St. Laurent is the son of Rick and Diane St. Laurent of Monmouth.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an Italian satin gown featuring cafe banded bodice with ivory A-line skirt, criss-cross back streamers and band embellished with bugle beads and Austrian crystals.

A reception followed at Slider’s Restaurant at the Grand Jordan Resort in Bethel.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Central Maine Medical Center in the Emergency Department.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended Norwich University and Andover College, obtaining a degree in criminal justice. He is employed at the Lewiston Police Department.
