Franco-American Day at the State House

Josh Rosenthal, 13, of Damariscotta chats with Don Cunningham of Lewiston before performing with the Les Bijoux Folk Fiddlers during Franco-American Day at the State House in Augusta on Wednesday. Rosenthal, his brother Benjamin, Owen Kennedy of Winthrop and Josh White of Auburn performed traditional Franco dance tunes for the audience. Lewiston musician Nel Meservier, a founding member of the C’est Si Bon Band, was inducted into the Franco-American Hall of Fame during Franco-American Day.
