Grange dance

LIVERMORE —A dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at New Norlands Grange Hall, off Route 133 on Airport Road, East Livermore. The will be live music with Silver and Gold. Cost is $5.

Bean supper

STRATTON — The Stratton-Eustis Wayfarers Club of Maine will sponsor a public bean supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Community Building.

There will be homemade baked beans, ham, casseroles, hot dogs, cole slaw, rolls and homemade pies for dessert. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10. The Wayfarers Club of Maine is a nonprofit service organization affiliated with Mt. Bigelow Masonic Lodge 202 and the Somerset Chapter 80 of the Eastern Star. The group meets at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the Stratton Masonic Lodge located across from the elementary school on School Street.

Baby-sitting

KINGFIELD — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer a Baby-sitting 101 training program for area girls in grades four to eight. The program will include getting a baby-sitting business started, playtime ideas, the likes and dislikes of children, troubleshooting and solutions to common problems and Baby-sitting 101 certification

The program will be held from 2:45 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, June 10 and 17. The cost of the program is $5 for registered Girl Scouts and $17 for non-Girl Scouts, which includes a $12 membership fee. Membership assistance is available for the fee. Space is limited. Preregistration along with payment is necessary by June 3.
