Panel discussion with candidates for state elections slated

JAY – The Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce will hold its breakfast meeting at 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at LaFleur’s Restaurant on Route 4 in Jay.

It will include a panel discussion with candidates vying for seats in State Senate Districts 14 and 17, and State House Districts 81 and 87. The moderator will be Darryl Brown.

Those wishing to attend should RSVP to the chamber office at 897-6755 by Thursday morning at 10 a.m.

The breakfast sponsor and member in the spotlight is Rob Boothby of  Boothby's Orchard in Livermore.

The business meeting will include updates on the Apple-Pumpkin Festival Planning, the improvements at Spruce Mountain Ski Slope, and the proposed Livermore Falls Centralized Healthcare Office. 

The meeting will adjourn at 9 a.m.
