Geiger hires new division head

LEWISTON — Geiger, the nation’s largest privately-owned promotional products distributor, has hired Casey Wright to serve as the new vice president and general manager of Crestline, the company’s direct marketing division.

Wright will be responsible for supervising all department heads within Crestline, increasing efficiency, maximizing profits, and improving associate and customer satisfaction. He will take a primary leadership role in developing a company vision and setting appropriate goals and objectives for future growth, as well as in efforts to identify and develop new markets.

Wright comes to Crestline from a long career as a marketing professional, most recently as chief marketing officer at Verilux, Inc., a Vermont-based lighting manufacturer. There, he took responsibility for not only direct marketing, including catalog and Web outreach, but also dealer support, sales support, trade shows, and all other advertising and public relations functions. Wright has also served as marketing officer for TFCCS, publisher of the Christian Science Monitor, where he was integral to promoting the brand via radio, TV, print and other media. Prior to that, he was principal of Wright Marketing Solutions, his own full-service marketing consulting firm, which provided unique brand propositions and marketing initiatives for clients throughout the United States.

Wright holds a bachelor of science in marketing from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and an MBA equivalency certificate through a partnership between AT&T and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also received certifications in direct marketing management by the Direct Marketing Association and sales management by the Xerox Sales School.

During his time off, Wright volunteers as a mentor at various maximum-security prisons. He is also passionate about promoting literacy among elementary school children. Wright was born and raised in Santa Monica, Calif., and now resides in Ipswich, Mass., with his wife. They have four grown children.
