Gene J. Baillargeon


TOGUS – Gene J. Baillargeon, 60, of Oak Hill Road, Northfield, N.H., passed away on Jan. 4, at Veterans’ Administration Medical Center.

He was born May 12, 1946, in Berlin, N.H., son of Eddie M. and Venia L. Baillargeon. He was educated in Milan and Berlin schools and graduated from Berlin High School in 1965.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.

He was a self-employed woodworker for many years making furniture and cabinets and also for many years a truck driver.

He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and winter sports.

He loved going to church. He was a member of the Boat Owners Association of America and American Boating Association.

He is survived by his mother of Holton Point, Lancaster, N.H.; two brothers, Edward F. of Berlin, N.H., and David V. of North Baldwin; three nephews, Luke Baillargeon of Berlin, N.H., Perry Rogers and Scott Mycko, of Pueblo, Colo.; three nieces, Charlene Harrison of Augusta, Norma Robertson of Warner, N.H., and Ann Monroe of Tennessee.

He was predeceased by his father; and one sister, Elaine Rogers Mycko.
