George H. Heintz, III


BOSTON — George Henry Heintz III, 51, of Chesterville, died Sunday, May 2, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He was born Nov. 19, 1958, in Atlantic City, N.J., the son of George H. and Helen D. (Lamkin) Heintz. As a young man, he worked in the Tannery in Wilton, Bass Shoe and then Franklin Shoe. Later he worked as a self-employed carpenter, until his retirement due to ill health.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and making furniture. He was a member of the New Sharon Area Riders ATV Club and the Chesterville Snowmobile Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica of Chesterville; his mother, Helen and stepfather, Ken Hosfeld, of North Carolina; his father, George Jr. and his stepmother, Maureen, of Chesterville; three sisters, Kim Couture, Jodi Myers and Michelle Grumney; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Tara; and his uncles, Dave, Tim and Edward Heintz, Jack, Tom, Paul and Gary Lamkin.
