LEWISTON — Geraldine O. Goodwin died April 5, at d’Youville Pavilion, with her family by her side.

She was born Sept. 4, 1920, in Poland, daughter of Gerald Oldham and Rosamond Lunt Ames. She was married to Delwin F. Goodwin on Dec. 25, 1939, and they were married for 45 years.

She was the mother of five children, David, Janice, Everett, Linda and Daniel. She was a great cook and wonderful seamstress and loved embroidery, knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by David Goodwin of Lewiston, Linda Berube and husband, Roland, of Auburn and Daniel Goodwin and Debbie, of Auburn; nine grandchildren, Susan, Christine, Patrick, Karen, Roland Jr., Greg, Wanda, Joshua and Travis; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and best friends, Carlene Leclair of Mechanic Falls and Marie McAllister of Auburn.

She was predeceased by her husband, Delwin; daughter, Janice Skillo Caron; son, Everett Goodwin, and wife, Sandra, daughter-in-law, Florence Ann Goodwin; all three sisters and brothers-in-law, Hester and Bill Pelletier of Groton, Conn., Florence and Chester Jones of West Auburn and Gwendolyn and Howard Bailey of Mechanic Falls; and five nieces and nephews.
