1948 – 2014
TOGUS — Gerard L. Langlois, 66, a resident of St. Jerome Street, in Lewiston, died Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the Maine Veterans Regional Medical Center, following a long illness, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 1, 1948, the son of Lionel and Margaret (Roy) Langlois. Gerard attended local schools was a graduate of Lewiston High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Following his military service, he graduated from Mid State College, with an accounting degree after which he then operated his own accounting firm in Lewiston.
He loved bowling, cribbage and following the Red Sox.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Langlois and wife, Jennifer, of Sabattus, and Brian Langlois of Lewiston; two brothers, George Langlois and companion, Clem, of Chicago, Ill., and Norman Langlois of Bar Harbor; two sisters, Diane Surette and husband, Kevin, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Therese Boise and husband, Bob, of Lewiston. Also surviving are four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
