Germaine loved spending time at her camp in Moosehead, hosting many family functions and cooking for her family. She enjoyed every minute of being a grandmother and readily availed herself to play in the sandbox and wading pool, as well as pillow fights and sharing books.

She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She enjoyed her Oreos and ice cream in lieu of dinner. She was a quiet and stoic woman who had a great sense of humor.

She leaves her daughter, Linda Ross and her husband, James, of South Portland; a son, Daniel Doyon and his wife, Linda, of Minot; five grandchildren, Stuart Ross, Julia Tripp and husband, Paul, Selina Tardif and husband, Chad, Michael Derosier and wife, Leena, and Kathy Tremblay; six great-grandchildren, Christina Buckley, Chase Tremblay, Colby Ross, Logan Tripp, RaeLynn Derosier and Christopher Derosier; two sisters, Blanche Wilson of Lewiston and Theresa Blouin and husband, Ronald, of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Reginald Janelle and wife, Joanne, of Lewiston; brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Yolande Bissonette, of Lewiston; very dear friend and roommate, Fern Lemlin; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

The family would like to send a very special thank-you to the staff at Schooner Estates for the wonderful care they gave Germaine. They all said how easy it was to make her happy. The family would like to also thank Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
