Dirigo 11, Carrabec 0

DIXFIELD — Kym Dolloff pitched seven strong innings of three-hit ball and helped herself at the plate with three hits, including a double, to lead Dirigo to an 11-0 win over Carrabec on Monday.

Mariah Larsen, Alyssa Charity and Paige Murphy all added a pair of hits for the Cougars (5-5).

Myranda Knight paced the Carrabec offense with a double, while Courtney Turner and Lacey Fenalson shared pitching duties for the Cobras (3-7).

Oak Hill 15, Nokomis 3
WALES — Lauren Hall scattered seven hits and helped her own cause at the plate as Oak Hill raced away to a 15-3 victory over Nokomis in a KVAC softball tilt Monday.

Katie Wood and Aylssa Rouleau led the Raiders (9-1) with three hits each and four RBIs combined. Abby Goulet also contributed with a two-run triple and three RBIs, while Hall belted a double and drove in one run.

Jessica Ware led Nokomis (5-5) with two hits, a triple and one RBI. Sabrina Vachon and Taylor Lovely also contributed with triples.

Edward Little 3, Brunswick 0

BRUNSWICK — Junior right fielder Miranda Martin executed three hits to lead Edward Little to a 3-0 victory over Brunswick in KVAC softball action Monday.

Emily Johnson singled Martin home for the first Red Eddies’ (7-3) run in the second inning, the eventual game-winner. Martin and Megan Hussar also notched an RBI for Edward Little.

Mel Bryant went 1-for-2 with a walk for the Dragons (1-9) in the losing effort.

Pitcher Kristen Whittaker struck out four while scattering four hits to earn a complete-game shutout for Edward Little.

Gray-New Gloucester 14, Wells 0

WELLS — Abby Ryan garnered three hits as Gray-New Gloucester steamed to a 14-0 victory over Wells in softball action Monday.

Laura Getchell struck out 11 and allowed just two hits for the Patriots (7-2). Alicia Valente pitched in with a pair of doubles for Gray-New Gloucester.

Wells catcher Sabrina Link performed well behind the plate and clubbed a double, while Megan Lewia had the only other hit in the losing effort.

Oxford Hills 15, Lewiston 7

SOUTH PARIS — Mariah Martin had three RBIs to lead Oxford Hills to a 15-7 victory over Lewiston in KVAC softball action Monday afternoon.

The Vikings (7-3) jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the home half of the second inning, and kicked it up again in the fifth with another six runs. Dayna Schultz collected three singles and two RBIs for Oxford Hills.

Tamara Roy was the only repeat hitter for the Blue Devils.


Oxford Hills 10, Edward Little 8
AUBURN  — Ebony Mills recored a hat trick, while three of her teammates scored twice as Oxford Hills hustled to a 10-8 victory over Edward Little in KVAC girls’ lacrosse action Monday.

Hannah Warren, Heather Knight and Amanda Dillingham netted two goals each for the Vikings (4-3), while a single goal from Danielle Allen completed the scoring. Mariah Kimball made six saves to notch the win. ‘

Shelby Russell led the Red Eddies (2-6) with three goals, while Sadie Voisine chipped in with two. Samantha Dean, Katie Williamson and Gabby LaPierre also tallied for EL, while Morgan Emerson turned back two shots between the posts.
