Gossett – Armstrong


ATHENS, Ga. – The wedding of Heather Nicole Gossett and Bradford Lauritsen Armstrong was held outdoors at 7 p.m. on May 28 at the Founders Memorial Garden on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens. The Rev. Billy Rowe officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Armstrong is the daughter of Richard and Betty Gossett of Georgia. Mr. Armstrong is the son of Robert and Maureen Armstrong of Auburn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kelly Langston, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Nicole Picardo, Susan Wooden and Frankie Bell, friends, and Nicole Lillis, sister-in-law. Julia Bell was the flower girl.

The best man was Jay Downing, friend of the bridegroom, and groomsmen were Tyler Cline, David Davidson and John Graham, friends, and Tom Lillis, brother-in-law. Joseph Lillis, nephew and godson of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the historic Georgian in the grand ballroom in Athens.

The bride is a graduate of Brookwood High School in Snellville, Ga., and the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. She is employed as a graphic designer for Network Communications in Laurenceville, Ga.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and Clemson University in South Carolina. He is employed as a senior graphic artist for Haas Publishing Co. in Norcross, Ga.

The couple is residing in Duluth, Ga., after traveling to Venice, Cortona and Rome, Italy.
