Gould wil get silly, slightly racy

BETHEL – Gould Academy’s spring musical, “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum” will hit the stage today and Saturday night, at 8 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. The show, jampacked with silly, slightly racy comedy, revolves around mistaken identities and wonderful songs set in classical Rome.

“A Funny Thing ” is filled with twists, turns, courtesans, eunuchs, soldiers, slaves, body snatchers, pirates, sight gags, slapstick, and, of course, a moral at the end. Playing Lead roles are Julia Hamilton Rhinelander, George Neptune, Alex Smith, Aimey Harrison, Brady Smith and Mike Lowell.

Performances will be in Bingham Auditorium. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, call 824-7700.
