AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a three-day Grant Writing Workshop on Fridays, Oct. 27, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon.
This introductory workshop, focused on preparing proposals for funding nonprofits, is designed for both beginners and more experienced practitioners who seek to build a stronger knowledge base.
Participants will learn how to identify prospective funding sources and how to build a plan to seek support. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive and “hands-on” learning experience.
The program will be facilitated by Christos Gianopoulos, who has decades of experience in personal and professional development, project direction, leadership of community initiatives, and teaching. A graduate of Bowdoin College, he also holds graduate degrees from American University and Syracuse University.
