The oil companies in the River Valley are doing it to the public again.
Heating oil prices in the Lewiston area are $2.38 per gallon, but in the valley, it is $2.69 per gallon. Does it really justify charging 31 cents per gallon more to transport the oil from Lewiston to Rumford?
I find it difficult to believe that the price of gasoline is the same in both places (sometimes lower in the valley), so why not the price of oil?
