NORWAY — A Greenwood man on his way to work slid off Greenwood Road and into a utility police Thursday morning, according to Norway police.
Daniel Robichaud, 25, was turning a corner and slid on the ice, according to Officer Robert Federico II. Robichaud overcorrected and spun out, with the right side of his Ford Escape slamming into a utility pole.
The crash happened at around 6:15 a.m. Federico said PACE transported Robichaud to Stephens Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for cuts on his hand from broken windows. The vehicle was totaled, Federico said.
Federico said the crash was caused by slippery conditions.
