DEAR SUN SPOTS: On Behalf of the Dead River Area Historical Society, I want to thank everyone who participated in, worked on and supported the Walk-A-Thon on May 1. The money raised will be used to paint another section of the museum. Not all the money is in yet, so we don’t have a total.
Our own local Daisy/Brownie Girl Scout Troop walked again this year. I’m sure the Scouts will all agree it was a long walk on a beautiful day. When you look at the museum as it is being painted, “you made that happen and we thank you.” — Mary Henderson, president
