AUBURN — Mechanics Savings Bank announces the appointment of Lisa Hallee as marketing and communications officer.
She is responsible for directing and executing the bank’s marketing and advertising strategies for print, broadcast and digital media, including the bank’s website. She also manages the bank’s public relations efforts, trade show events and high school scholarship program. She is chairwoman of the bank’s charitable contributions committee.
Hallee has more than 20 years of marketing experience, specializing in the design and implementation of multi-channel promotional campaigns. She will report to Dick Roy, executive vice president, chief banking officer.
Hallee served as creative services manager at Northeast Bank for six years before being hired at Mechanics Savings Bank. For a number of years, she owned and managed a design and marketing firm based in Portland’s Old Port and has experience working for a number of Maine-based advertising agencies. Formerly, she was the marketing director at the Montalvo Corp., an international company headquartered in Maine.
Hallee earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and graphic design from Keene State College in Keene, N.H., and is a 1986 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn. She lives in Portland with her husband and their daughter.
