In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she worked outside of the home at Montgomery Ward, Food Town, Save More, McDonald’s and for a brief time at Shop ‘N Save.

She was a former member of the Eagles, the Snowshoe Club, The American Legion and the Rumford VFW. She enjoyed eating out, baking, shopping, giving to many charities, and collecting butterflies.
