Harrison slates March Madness for seniors


HARRISON — The town is sponsoring and hosting its annual March Madness Senior Social for people ages 55 and older on Sunday, March 11, at the fire station beginning at noon.

The Harrison Recreation event features a roast turkey dinner with all the fixings served family style and dessert. Following the meal there will be many games of Bingo with prizes awarded to each winner. Also there will be a drawing for the Easter centerpieces and for the Giant Easter Basket.

Reservations are required, Recreation Director Paula Holt said. Tickets may be purchased at the Harrison Town Office or at the Bridgton Community Center for $10 per person or $8 for residents of Harrison. Tickets will be taken and the door and used for the Easter basket drawing. There is a seating capacity of 80 people.
