‘Hello-ween’ in Auburn Saturday

AUBURN — The United New Auburn Association will hold the fourth annual Happy Hello-ween with downtown New Auburn businesses from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The starting point will be Rolly’s Diner. Maps of the Trick or Treat route will be given out there, listing the New Auburn-area businesses that are participating. Crossing guards will help people cross the street in crosswalks for the safe, daylight event.

Children and adults are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes. Prizes will be given out for “Best Costume” throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a “Spooky Cemetery” and a Haunted House located at the Boys & Girls Club.

Everyone — whether in costume or not — are welcome to participate in this free event.

The event is being put on by the United New Auburn Association, local businesses and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine Auburn/Lewiston Clubhouse. It will be held rain or shine.

Contact Kathy Shaw (207) 320-1969 for more information and if your business would like to participate.
