Historian to discuss life of Kimball Atwood


PARIS – Frank Vierling will present a program about Kimball Atwood at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the Paris Hill Community Club following the club dinner.

Vierling, an historian, has compiled a book about the life of Kimball Atwood, who lived on Paris Hill in the former Hamlin house. Atwood’s vision helped to develop the commercial grapefruit industry in Florida, and he was also one of the pioneers in liability insurance as president of the Preferred Accident Insurance Co. of New York.
