PARIS — Members and friends of the Paris Cape Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at the museum, 77 High Street.
After a brief business meeting, during which officers for the coming year will be elected, Howard “Jack” Frost and Ben Conant will present a program.
Frost will make a special presentation of articles belonging to his late wife, Barbara Swan Frost, who was a faithful member of the society. She has given many pieces of furniture and other treasures to the society, which are on display at the museum.
Conant will read several brief compositions on Paris history written by Barbara Frost. The writings give a slice of life in past days in the town.
Refreshments will be served following the meeting. The building is handicapped accessible and the meeting is open to the public.
