Hospital will offer ‘Living Well’ series for those living with long-term health problems


NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital will offer the Living Well – Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. The class will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, beginning May 20 and running for six weeks.

Class will meet in the Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building next to Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Living Well is a program for anyone living with a long-term health problem such as asthma, arthritis, COPD, diabetes or obesity. During the class, participants will learn how to set goals that are attainable, find ways to relax, manage stress, find support and solutions to problems and make daily tasks easier.
