LEWISTON — Lindsay Dearborn saved her best for last. The Deering forward struck for a pair of goals in the final four minutes of regulation Saturday to lead the visiting Rams to a 7-6 rain-soaked win over Lewiston at Bates College.

The win is Deering’s first of the season against three losses and a tie. Veronica Mitchell also scored a pair of goals for Deering, and Juile Pallozzi made 13 saves in the victory.

Kristin McCombs was the top scoring player for Lewiston, netting a pair of goals for the Blue Devils (2-2). Emily Craig turned back 15 shots in the loss.
