Immigration sessions offered in Lewiston


LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will host immigration services officers from the Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The officers will be holding a free open office session for individuals from the community with any questions about the United States immigration process.

The officers will be available in the second floor study rooms for one-on-one meetings from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Drop-ins are welcome; no appointments are necessary.

Services provided include customer inquiries, case status for pending applications, and general information about naturalization, citizenship, permanent residence and asylum/refugee information.
