LEWISTON — Argo Marketing Group was Maine’s fastest-growing private company in 2014, according to Inc. magazine. It led the nine Maine companies that made the magazine’s annual list of the country’s 5,000 fastest-growing companies.
The ranking is based on a privately held, for-profit company’s three-year revenue growth.
Lewiston-based Argo had revenue of $13.7 million in 2014, according to the magazine, and had a three-year growth rate of 669 percent.
The telecommunications company opened a 12,000-square-foot call center facility in Lewiston’s former McCrory’s department store on Park Street at the end of 2013 with room for at least 250 call center staff.
Founded by CEO Jason Levesque of Auburn, Argo has branches in Pittsfield and South Portland.
