LIVERMORE FALLS — Irving L. Dudley, 61, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Wednesday, April 26, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 10, 1955, in Augusta, the son of Lendall Dudley and Theresa (Fuller) Dudley. He attended schools in the Augusta area and received his GED in Livermore Falls. He married the love of his life, Betty Taylor, on May 8, 1997, in Readfield.
He worked as a farmer and at car auctions in Wilton. In his youth, he was an amateur boxer. One of Irving’s greatest pleasures was bird watching. He loved spending time with his family and watching all sports. Irving loved going to the fairs and watching the horse pulling. His favorite holiday was Halloween and he enjoyed all of the festivities and dressing in different costumes. He was greatly loved and will be missed forever.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Dudley, of Livermore Falls; five stepsons, Jerry Farrington and his wife, Donna, of Fayette, Claude Farrington and his wife, Sue, in Pennsylvania, Bruce Farrington and his wife, Tess, of Bingham, Kevin Farrington and his wife, Liz, of Stratton, Darryl Farrington and his wife, Peggy, of Peru; eight step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; a sister, Thelma Sirois of Augusta; and his beloved cat, “Cuddles.”
He was predeceased by his parents and two step-grandchildren.
