LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Jan. 22 with 40 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces.

Mary Groleau led in singing “Faith of Our Fathers.” The sick list included Christine Harlow. Members welcomed back Eugene Pomerleau and Joyce Richards.

The group received a card from St. Andre’s Health Facility thanking them for a donation in memory of Veronica Blanchard. This was the last day to sign up for the monthly meal from SeniorsPlus.

The third- and fourth-grade students from Jay Elementary School will entertain the seniors on Monday, Feb. 12. On Feb. 26, Conrad Wurtz, a licensed psychologist, will discuss sleep disorders.

There were two 50-50 drawings, won by Ellie Mitchell and Jeannine Williams. The meeting was adjourned and cards and games were played.
